High Fiber foods, like low carb veges, fruits, oatmeal, especially if eaten in the morning will give you the energy you need to get through the day. An added benefit is high fiber foods fill you up and you won’t be as hungry. Look for products with whole grain as their first ingredient when buying breads, pastas, etc. Beans are also a great source of high fiber.
Good fats - monounsaturated fats - like in olive oil is a good fat that contributes to reducing cholesterol and metabolizing body fat. Many fruits and vegetables contain vitamins that prevent the absorption of fat in the body.
